WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. The scriptures should be applied to the believer's everyday life through diligent study and meditation.

  • He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

  • He lived a sinless and perfect life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again three days later to prove His victory and empower us for life.

  • Marriage is a gift from God. It is designed for one man and one woman. Sexuality should only be expressed in the context of that marriage covenant found throughout scripture.

  • In order to receive forgiveness and to be saved, we must repent of our sins and place our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation comes from Christ alone by grace through faith in Jesus.

  • We believe that in order to live the life that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

    The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts. The purpose of the gifts are to build the church and honor God. All the spiritual gifts seen in the New Testament church are active and available to present day believers through the enablement and choosing of the Holy Spirit. None of these gifts have ceased to exist nor have ceased to play a vital role in the mission of the church. These gifts are used with wisdom, order, and discernment to honor God & build His Church.

  • We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and holy communion
